January 13, 2023 - Bourgogne 2002 horisontal Grand and 1. cru winetasting dinner (20 btls) (Nordsjaelland): Better than 2005 which I rated 92.
Gold color. apricot, lemon, pineapple, toast, medium intensity both on the nose and the palate. (No aromas of butter). high acidity and a little bitterness on the palate. 93+ -

September 28, 2022 - Still a pale yellow colour. Plenty of sulphur on nose. Palate a bit flat initially. Really breathed up with air. Rich, yellow fruits. Very good.

April 28, 2020 - Getting a bit long in the tooth. a hint of sherry and oxidation on the finish which detracted from what was probably pretty good juice 6 years ago. still had some minerality but the lack of freshness made this drinkable but maybe not totally enjoyable.

January 28, 2020 - Poured into decanter and let it breathe for an hour. Very nice nose, complex palate, and long length. Excellent Burgundy.

4/1/2008 (link)(Boillot Jean-Marc Bâtard-Montrachet) Plenty of oak on the nose - closer to toast than brioche - it’s wide but not showing much depth. Very fruit-driven flavours and quite concentrated. Well balanced and shows a good finish. It misses that extra dimension for ’special’ but it’s very, very good.
