January 1, 2024 - New Year 2024 tasting (at my home): Blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Sangiovese (40-30-25-5%) aged for 15 months in second-use oak barrels. Alc. 13.5% vol. Nose of ripe red and black fruits seasoned with spices and balsamic notes, perhaps eucalyptus. In the mouth a wine of medium+ structure, well balanced, with polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Very nice set, versatile for gastronomy, goes well from pizza to barbecue.

April 26, 2023 - Poured a glass via Coravin to have with Rigatoni pasta alla Norma last night.
This is a nice alternative to the usual glass of Chianti.

February 7, 2023 - I discovered this wine with 2016 vintage and loved it. This 2017 was good, but as outstanding as the 2016, and the 2017 is more expensive. Still a good Corvina wine.

October 14, 2022 - 2Loyal and others here have this right - easy drinking, mid-week quaff that goes well with a bowl of pasta or pizza. PnP'd. Fair amount of funk on the open, so give that some time to blow off. Red berries and tar. Medium bodied, round finish. Primary in every respect, but great QPR at $13.

August 29, 2022 - Aged nicely and proved to be a very tasty, food-friendly easy-drinker for the price point. Would definitely buy again <$15.
