July 19, 2020 - Quest to complete my tasting of all DOCG of Italy; 6/5/2020-8/31/2020 (Home in NL and holiday home in Maremma / Italy): Deep ruby color with hints of purple at the rim. Aromas of cherry and blackcurrant with some red liquorice and a hint of rose petals. Medium bodied with lively acidity some chewy tannins and fresh fruit. Medium-long finish that remains fresh. Not a lot of structure to further develop. Drink now - 2023.
