March 10, 2024 - Classic Anderson Valley Pinot from a great, historical vineyard. Drinking very well with lots of nuance right now.

January 11, 2024 - This wine has a beautiful color and an inviting nose. It has Asian spices, sweet cherry fruit, some earthiness, vanilla, and a full mouthfeel with a great finish. It is so delicious to drink right now!

November 14, 2023 - Beautiful balance and drinking great right now. Complex, dense and earthy with baking spices such as vanilla and cinnamon. Suggest half hour decant. Vinturi.

October 20, 2023 - Big Fruit but at 13.5 it's not overpowering. These will hold for a long time so no rush to drink now.

July 24, 2023 - A top-end Cali Pinot for sure. Darker and more opaque than many, this is smooth as silk with soft, mellow tannins. Ripe, dark cherries and other red fruit predominate. This is not cheap, but not ordinary either.

March 24, 2023 - On the cork pull I thought nah, big and sweet and bombastic. Hours went by and more sips, and then two days passed and more sips, and my mind has changed. This is earthy and deep and savory. Much more depth than I originally thought. From the cool side of a cool place (AV), I pictured this being light and ethereal, but it's the opposite. It just needs time.

September 24, 2022 - Bottle opened 1 hour prior but not decanted. Diluted red fruits, dusty pomegranate and strawberry but all seemed rather thin with a slight menthol/anise finish. Cousin Pudge seemed the wine lacked a punch and rather subdued for a WS wine.

August 13, 2022 - Decanted for an hour and drank over two hours. Wish I took more notes on this. This was a fantastic, classic WS California Pinot. The palate was filled with purple and dark red fruits with mint, and chewy tannins. The aroma had lots of rose petals. Everything was complemented by a nice level of acidity.
