  February 27, 2023 - Sweet oak spice and chocolate leads on nose, with dark plums, violets and sage, m int, definitely appealing.
  Palate uneven, starts with wet cedar then red cherry, orange peel, touch of coffee, m- finish, m+ acidity, m tannin. Awkward flavor profile.

  May 8, 2022 - So.....Small Lots #3.
  On nose: notes of lead pencil and red plums.
  On palate: both flavours above, enhanced, with baking spices, dried rose, pipe tobacco and cherry pits.
  Very civilized alcohol( 13.6%) ....a fine balanced blend of Sangiovese, Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon...in short Sandhill's answer to an Italian Toscana....the oak is prolific, but leaning closer to Old World than either the #1 or #2 , of this property, well done.

  March 6, 2022 - Decanted 2h but could of gone 3. 44% Sangiovese, 38% Cab Sauv, 18% Barbera. 20 months ageing in 55% new oak.
  
  Brown sugar, cherry, plums, tobacco, sweet spice, coffee cake, tobacco leaf, cherry, leather.
