September 13, 2012 - Still rich with lots of pear fruit, with a beautiful mineral edge.
September 1, 2012 - lots of sweetness. Very good but more of a spat
May 9, 2012 - A little less rich than previously but still pretty rich for a Kabinett, and delicious as ever.
November 19, 2010 - A great Kabinett, as usual with Daniel, it is much sweeter than a regular Kabinett. Dense classical Riesling notes with candy and minerals. Great Wine! (Though he could really do some work on his labels)
July 29, 2010 - NSMFOW July 2010--Northern vs. Southern Hemisphere (The Grapevine, Salem, MA): Medium yellow color. Nice nose of ripe apple, peach, some apricot, some minerality. Slight effervescence at first with light residual sugar. Good fruit with citrus balancing the sweetness. Overall very enjoyable.
December 21, 2008 - Mid-gold with a hint of green. Hay and flowers on the nose. Lovely richness on the palate, peaches and lemons with hay, creamy mouthfeel, some stone on the finish. Outstanding.
December 8, 2008 - Again a lovely funky nose and some richness on the palate, with good minerality and citrussy acidity.
October 27, 2008 - Light gold with a green tinge. Lovely stinky Riesling nose with straw, barnyard and a stony note. Full in the mouth; a little spritz still, but already a petrolly note, and tropical fruit too, with a good injection of lime and schist to keep it balanced. Lots going on, spectacular value. A rich, full style as befits 2006.
February 7, 2008 - One of the best white wines and rieslings I have ever drank. I have opened dozens of bottles of this wine and no one hasn't liked it yet. Tastes quite fruity and a little sweet. Has a little bit of Champagne-like quality. Smells fruity too. Very refreshing. A good summe drink as well, but I have served it with dinner and in parties. My wine store has raised the price of the wine from $17.99 to $24.99 within the last year.
December 27, 2007 - Smooth and pure, delightful.
