December 26, 2023 - Deep dark ruby, garnet at the edges. Black cherries and strawberries on the nose, with a touch of pepper and liquorice. An all-out assault on the palate, with ripe, sweet black and red fruit. Almost imperceptibly fine tannins, and a touch of, dare I say, vanilla on the finish? Medium to long finish, stamped all over the mouth with vanilla and cherry. Reminds me why I love Ribera.

February 5, 2022 - Beautifully balanced structure, great black and red fruit. Quite rich, ripe, touch of sweetness. Delicious. Medium to full bodied, grippy tannins, now softening, medium acidity. Quite dry medium finish. Quite complex. Drink and over the next 5 years.

May 23, 2021 - Drinking very well, still fresh, soft tannins, light to moderate oak. Highly recommend.

August 6, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP #297: Three interesting flights (@ My place): In the bouquet some pleasant barnyard, mint, dark berries and beautiful, well integrated oak. On the palate the same impressions. Beautiful dark berries and chocolate. beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. The wine is fully mature now.

June 7, 2017 - P & P. A nice balance of sweet and savory, with neither dominating. Espresso and floral notes. Tannins undetectable. Dark and dense with remarkable tactility and a long, contemplative finish. A beauty, especially with a meal. Drink soon; why wait any longer?
