August 28, 2021 - Found this hiding in the back of my cellar. Upon opening, this turned out to be a little gem! Decanted one hour before fully evaluating. Deep garnet. Aromas of bing cherry orchard and fresh picked green peppers with maybe a hint of winter baking spice. Full bodied with waves of cherry with blackberry and perhaps boysenberry nuances. A faint lick of aged vanilla plays through fine, persistent tannins. This wine aged wonderfully and far beyond my expectations.
