September 22, 2012 - Purple red, med body; smokey, dark fruit, earth; black cherries, toast, chewy but mild tannins; very enjoyable with carry-out Greek pizza (feta, spinach, tomatoes, onion) from Miguel's at Red River Gorge

March 8, 2012 - Not remarkable with a bit of a "medication" finish, think cough syrup just not as bad. All in all just an average bottle of wine.

January 14, 2011 - Nice balance, low acidity and tannins, lightly jammy, probably losing some intensity due to age.

January 16, 2010 - A typical syrupy Syrah, but pleasantly so. Thick, dark, full of the sweet dark fruits. Probably best to drink by itself, or with cheese or dark chocolate. It would clash with a meal.

August 6, 2009 - Rhone-type blend done in juicy California style. Plenty of fruits, decent acidity. A little sweet and noticably grapy, like Welch's.

GOod QPR on sale at $12.99. Weird residue on shoulders of the bottle. 85 pts.

July 14, 2009 - As with prior bottles, stewed plums and toasty oak dominate. There's something very pleasing about this wine.
