November 18, 2022 - Interesting form of an Australian Syrah with a well defined Rhone style

November 1, 2021 - Day 1: no note taken. Popped and poured. Moderately reductive aromas of smoke with fresh red/dark fruit. Seductive nose. Similar flavors. Fresh. Balanced. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Moderate complexity/finish. My favorite Ochota bottling to date. Recorked.
Day 3: 1/4 bottle leftover. Lost most of its energy. I don't think this will be long lived, but it was really enjoyable upon opening.
