May 13, 2017 - Bouquet is fantastically tropical and complex - with mango, pear and persimmon, plus secondary aromas of butterscotch, custard and honey. Unfortunately for me, the palate is identical, which results in a Sauternes-like full bodied sweet mouthful. Not my style
June 29, 2012 - Still fantastic. Sadly this was my last bottle, but while it was ready now, it could have sat for another year or two.
June 10, 2012 - Spicy apple and butter on the palate, with apple and floral notes. Buttered popcorn and spice on the palate, with some apple and floral notes.
June 13, 2010 - Rich and heavy, with butterscotch, vanilla, caramel notes. Great finish. Maybe the best bottle of this yet.
July 22, 2009 - More balanced than the last bottle, this was the hit wine of the night at our club's monthly wine dinner. Great California Chardonnay, it really shows what benefit a few years can give a well made bottle of white.
June 8, 2009 - A little more oak than I usually care for, and it has enough body to it that it definitely needs food and an hour or two air time. Good balance overall, though and an enjoyable bottle.
July 15, 2006 - A nice wine with a bit too much oak on finish for my taste
August 2, 2004 - Quick taste on 7/4/04 at the Metropolitan Grill in Seattle. Very good chardonnay with lots of minerality, hazelnut and acidity to go the distance. Hard to find but worth it.
January 20, 2004 - Rich extracted apricot notes with plenty of oak. It had a heavy mouth feel. 85.
January 1, 2004 - As a core member of the ABC club this didn't persuade me to revoke my card. It was nice, balanced, and pleasant, but revealing that classic butter that I despise.
