    January 15, 2024 - Excellent
See prior TN from 2020, except this has improved further. I wish I had more room in the cellar as this is another producer I'd like to buy more of. Great values.

    12.5% abv

November 9, 2021 - Same as my last note. This might be my favorite vintage of Vincents chardonnay yet! Awesome Juice!

November 3, 2021 - Light straw color. Aroma is citrus, pear, some lime leaf and apple, wet stones. Palate is similar but with a touch of baked apple spiciness from oak in the finish. Medium-medium+ acidity and lots of minerality and saline. Lean and lithe body but with great depth. It's seems a little tight right now, but I expect this will improve with some bottle age over the next several years. Good QPR. Definitely worth buying more and sitting on it a few years.

August 7, 2021 - Tasted in Grassl Liberte Glass. Pale yellow-green in the glass with a silver hue. Nice flinty reduction more so than other Vincents, and that is a good thing as far I am concerned. Nice lemon and grapefruit that drives the nose, followed by hints of caramel. Bright lemon and salinity drive the palate. Hints of grapefruit and pineapple come through as well. Nice richness and mouthfeel as well. The finish is medium length with just subtle hints of oak. Overall, a glass of really nice wine with ripping acid. I've enjoyed Vincent's chardonnays very much the last 5+ years, and this one might be the best yet. Recent drinking of the 2016's shows that these need time to integrate and develop complexity. Both this and the tardive bottlings are excellent QPR and some of my favorites from each Vintage. Well done, Vincent.

April 13, 2021 - Pop and pour and served with only a slight chill.
This bottle had arrived about 1 week earlier after a cross country trip inside a box.
Tasted with food (pork fried rice with green beans, in case you were wondering).
    Light straw color.
Nose offers green apple and touch of lemon peel.
Crisp and refreshing. Nice citrus fruit and green apple.
Opened up a bit more as it warmed to room temperature.
Lacks a bit of depth. Yet still an enjoyable, light fresh wine.

February 18, 2021 - Lean and mean. Ready to go from pop and pour. Apple, lemon, yum. A bit of crystals in the bottom of the bottle. The main difference between this and the Tardive is the Tardive is more full on the front end. Both of Vincent's chards are QPR winners!
