August 4, 2021 - this was very pale with apple and pear. The finish was very dry and crisp

July 4, 2021 - 2 hour decant. Pale yellow. Aromatic steely fruits on the nose. Tastes like apples, decent length. Overall not nearly as satisfying as other Forge offerings. Further, unlike other forge dry Rieslings, the lengthy decant did not help. ADDENDUM: The next day, after storage in a refrigerator, this wine turned very, very sour (apples), not really drinkable.

May 3, 2021 - Another fantastic single site Riesling from Forge. This one has a burst of salt and minerals in the mid-palette with all the fruit upfront. Fruit is mostly apple and pear. Finish is dry with a crispy snap and a little hint of petrol. There’s just enough residual sugar (0.2%) for some heft but with food we found lighter is best. Pair with cured meats and dry cheese or perhaps crudo. Fantastic to drink on its own outside on a nice day.

March 27, 2021 - A bit of a reticent nose—dried flowers, orange, peach, lemon. The palate is more forward, though it mostly matches the nose. That said, the wine is still pleasantly subtle and the acidity makes it excellent for food.

March 16, 2021 - Meyer lemon, white grapefruit on the nose. Quite dry across the tongue. Great tension in this wine. It dances on your tongue for a good 30-40 seconds. Finish is a little underwhelming.
