September 2, 2023 - Fresh and tasty, not really showing much development yet. Always a fun drinker while waiting on the Palmberg and 1900.

August 17, 2022 - Delicious. A just slightly off dry style. Great purity of fruit, sweet citrus, white floral notes, and good definition on the palate.

May 5, 2022 - Beautiful and surprisingly complex for one of Stein's less famous sites. Zippy and acidic, opens into a very floral profile (white flowers, blossoms, ginger), and ends with a deeply complex smoky minerality.

July 6, 2021 - Very nice light-weight feinherb. All the racy acidity and lemony minerality you could want.

May 7, 2021 - Yet another star coming from Ulli Stein in the 2019 vintage. Enjoyed over five hours and what a fun evolution to experience. Initially quite delicate and understated with a real sense of water running over crushed slate. With air the wine blossomed into a creamy and zesty palate of spiced nectarines and candied lime. An intoxicating nose of fresh mint leaves and floral nuance kept me coming back to the glass. This was so pretty and ethereal yet the long and persistent finish gave this wine depth and verve.
It has been so fun to taste through the 2019 wines from Ulli Stein and Philip Lardot. From the over performing Blauschiefer, electric energy of the Palmberg, power of the 1900, or ethereal prettiness of the Himmelreich. They have all been magic. I just need to try the joyful Weihwasser now!
