January 21, 2024 - Really enjoyed. Nice mountain fruit but with some earthy and floral notes. Some nice salinity and acidity, soft tannins. Pretty nice wine at $24. Good QPR.

November 24, 2023 - Has great mountain tension from acidity and structure. Fruit and mineral tension on the nose. Nice Cabernet flavors of dark fruit, purple fruit, touch of shrub. Finish is smooth with a supple oak kiss. Not sure how I gave this 92 prior. It’s good but definitely a 90, maybe 91 on a good day.

October 19, 2023 - This wine certainly got better since last time and that time it was pretty good.
Deep dark purple, rich in color & intensity, and a terrific mouthfeel.
Dark fruits - berries, plums, etc. - upon tasting and smelling.

October 11, 2023 - This was much more ready to go than 18 months ago. Right at the pop, the bouquet has plenty of black berries and vanilla, graphite, cedar, lavender, and white pepper. Deep flavors with a few more layers of fig, licorice, and cocoa. High octane but undeniably yummy. The tannins and acidity are harmonious and the sweet fruit and the medium-length finish reveals nothing out of place. A day 2 update would be interesting, but I make no promises.
Second day, it is smoother and even more cohesive.
Throwing a good amount of sediment.
