November 6, 2023 - 88/89. Not as good as it used to be. 2016 is supposed to be a fabled vintage. 14%. Very foursquare refreshing wine with a shortish tannic finish and a bit of an alcoholic burn. Drink in next 2-4 years.

December 17, 2022 - Nose of alcohol and cedar. Somewhat disappointingly thin and unbalanced. There is some black cherry coated with oak . Overall subpar for this producer.

November 26, 2022 - Well rounded, ripe forest fruits with complimentary spices to include clove, oak with slight forest floor. Medium bodied and satisfying from first taste to finish. Open and let stand for at least 60 minutes. An absolute bargain at $16.99 USD.

August 21, 2022 - Fairly hard, austere, rich but acidic Rioja.

    Not sure about this.

    14%, cork.

June 11, 2022 - Graphite and dark chocolate characteristics leave fruit, acid, and spice elements a little out of balance -- for a tempranillo blend. A two-hour decant helps bring some of the brute power into better harmony. Pair with food as with a big, rich cabernet. At six years, it's still young for a Rioja reserva.
