Nose heavy on tar creosote with faint artichokes, mild fruit-this eventually blows off and has stewed red fruits cedar and faint brown sugar
Medium body, flavors of tar, dark cherries, and vegetal tones
Firm tannins but doesn’t bring much to the table -

August 11, 2013 - Very pleased by this bottle: Cedar and a blend of cherries with powdery, well integrated tannins. Nice balance of fruit and acid; great food wine. Drinking very nicely now. Gone too soon.
