April 3, 2024 - Pleasantly surprised with this. Killer nose of medicinal cherry, cassis, plum, graphite, a mild vegetal note, and some oak. The palate feels a little muted, but is still nice with less-bright cherry, plum, earth, dark chocolate, oak, and some sweet spices on the finish. Medium tannins and medium- acidity feel a little out of balance, but this is still plenty enjoyable. Will be trying more Owen Roe soon.

September 25, 2022 - Slow ox'ed for over an hour. Medium ruby in colour. Nose of crushed raspberries and plums with hints of dried herbs. On the palate, some tarty ripe cherries and black tea are noticed along with its semi-chewy tannins. Medium bodied with a medium finish.

January 29, 2022 - no good. just a flabby mess right now. pop'd n poured, but I don't think a decant would have helped enough to make a significant difference.

October 21, 2021 - Rather pretty on the nose this vintage. And with some lift through the mid palate.

September 17, 2021 - Tastes more advanced than it appears. Medium ruby in color, no notes of brown, but plenty of earth and leather on the nose. Some dried black fruit and leaf in the background. Palate backs that up. Body is medium, same with intensity. A good wine that should be had in the short term.
