July 6, 2023 - Tasted after a 30 minute decant. Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of sweet black fruit, liquorice, tobacco & leather. On the palate, full bodied black fruit, mostly black cherry, blackberry, liquorice, sweet tobacco, chocolate, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to leather & pepper. At this price point, this is excellent, complex, balanced wine!

August 25, 2022 - The grape for this wine is listed in CellarTracker as Nero Di Troia, which is the normal grape for this DOC. However, the winery website lists the blend as 70% Aglianico, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Syrah.
Tasted after a one hour decant.
Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of floral black fruit, leather, dusty earth & cocoa powder.
On the palate, full bodied tart black fruit, blackberry/bramble, leather, tobacco, cedar, earth, cocoa, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to intense pepper.
This is complex, aggressive, balanced wine that punches a way above its price point.
Given the acidity/tannin backbone it should age a bit longer, but drink it now if you’ve got it. Well done!1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 19, 2022 - Тёмный пурпурно-рубиновый цвет. В аромате чёрные ягоды, джем, копчёные ноты, ваниль, вареная сгущёнка, специи. Во вкусе плотное, густое, сладковатое с горчинкой, средние+ танины, умеренная кислотность. 89/100
