November 25, 2016 - light petrol, some age, yellow fruit, beautiful autumnal fruit and red berries in mid. finishes with zest and red currant tarness. YUM

May 5, 2012 - Remembering why I got half a case of these now. Last tasted 2-3 years ago. In the glass, the color has darkened a bit to a light gold. Nose has distinct petrol and a honeyed-floral note below. First sip brings a juicy, clean white peach riding a tart wave of mouthwatering acidity. Finish is long and mouth continues to water almost a full minute. I love the balance of this and the mineral, slate undertone. I am going to save my last bottle for a special occasion a few years down the road, which will probably be the opening of the bottle, itself! Great Kabinett at a very reasonable price point that can't be beat. I was going to have a spicy Indian chicken with this, but I think I won't waste food on it. Such a treat!

July 19, 2009 - honey, petrol & floral elements. Good body and perfectly balanced. IMO simply incredible for the price--better than other rieslings out there at the $14 price point, e.g., Dr. L, etc.

January 11, 2009 - Soft smooth with some earth lemon dry soury finish.

May 10, 2008 - Very solid mosel riesling. Light yellow color. Very tropical nose with a hint of petrol. Definite pineapple and citrus on the palate. Light on the mouthfeel with a definite residual sweetness. Finishes kind of short. Great pairing with spicy food. Had it with a chicken curry. Not a show stopper but solid weeknight riesling.
