August 11, 2022 - Très beau Beaujolais, mur et concentré, mais sans lourdeur. Surprenamment meilleur le lendemain. A 2-3 ans de son apogée. J’adore cette cuvée de Foillard.

March 13, 2022 - Floral nose with red berries and cherries. Good acidity with tart red cherries and herbs on the palate. Nice finish. It does show a bit the ripeness and weight of the vintage, but it still remains a classic Foillard Gamay with all the tartness and balance you’d expect. Lovely wine.

December 8, 2021 - Oh my, this is super terrific! This has dense, red fruit, spice, earth. It’s crunchy defined, with many savory spices, intermixed with game meat, tart Bojo fruit. It’s lovely, inviting, nuanced, and flat out delicious! Drinking really well right now.

November 28, 2021 - No formal notes taken as had at Thanksgiving dinner.
Everything I had hoped for though, beautiful Beaujolais with a little age but still with the crunchy fruit profile. A lot going on here, both on the nose and on the palate.1 person found this helpful Comment
