October 19, 2019 - Anticipating tomorrow's flight, I shared this Langhe. Cork has become soaked halfway (bad transport in origin, it is a bottle bought in Finland) but then those almost ten years in my cellar have served to dry it.
Crimson off with an aqueous halo. The nose begins with notes of withered rose petals. Very reserved, with memories of wet clay soil, violets, honeysuckle and blueberries. Subsequently and very weakly appear aromas of bianchetta and boletus. On the palate retains that proverbial austerity that blends with the silkiness of Merlot. Smooth attack but determined, silky but well balanced by acidity. Also a good length and a real soul.
From a minor vintage, an excellent 14-year-old bottle that still has time for an aristocratic decline.

March 2, 2017 - Very nice for the price. Still a lot of life left in this bottle. Cork however wouldn't have been sound much longer, so I think drinking now is better than later.

January 23, 2016 - This was one of those forgotten bottles as I hadn't necessarily intended to keep it this long, but what a surprise. It was excellent after 30-40 minutes of decanting. Give it a try if you are still holding some.

August 8, 2015 - Pnp - ready to go, but not past it at all. Nice wine - fairly elegant, yet precise with a medium finish. Solid as she goes
