  December 3, 2023 - Opened and decanted for 3 hours. Deep ruby red in the glass. Tight on the nose, with that strong iron note you get from very young wines. Some fresh berry fruit, but not much going on. High acidity, unripe tannins, slight herbaceousness on the finish. Very closed and restrained. I’d wait for at least 2 years to drink this again. Has substance, but not ready at all.

  October 20, 2022 - Ripe red fruit on the nose and palate. Good acidity with medium finish. Nice, but lacking the green notes I look for from Loire cab franc. Would be interested to try this from a cooler vintage.

  June 19, 2021 - Drank over 2 days.
  N dark berries, black currant, smoke, minerals
  P black and mixed raspberries, cranberry, leather, herbs
  F long in length, nice mouthfeel, grippy tannin, good acidity
  Overall this was a really nice wine that will only improve with additional cellaring, but enjoyable now.
