December 19, 2021 - Very pale ruby color, getting into the Trousseau / Poulsard range and this sort of translates to the palate, with lighter tannin and more of a medium- body, but it walks the tightrope where this comes across as a very elegant and silky wine, rather than being thin or under extracted. For me, this really screams Santa Maria, whereby everything has a bit of a brambly quality, that gives it a feel of whole cluster fermentation, despite being fully de-stemmed. Lots of red berry fruit, nice herbal notes and bright acidity make this a wine that goes down waaaay too easily. Given the lighter structure, this isn't something that I would look to age, but it's great right now.

May 2, 2021 - Light in color, floral notes. Berry backbone. Lovely soft mouthfeel.
