July 13, 2022 - With lamb chops, nice match. Smooth, cherry, bold, thick, but not too tannic to finish bottle after the meat.

June 23, 2022 - No way this is a 96 or anywhere near that, but each year this jammy, juicy mouthful turns out a consistent bold and robust red that won't fit everyone's taste buds. Best with spicy/grilled fare (pizza also?) when you really don't want a beer, but want a red wine that will stand up and enhance the plebeian fare.
