June 2, 2022 - So much better than the last time I had this. Much more integrated. Great with steak dinner. Decanted for 90 min and still quite tannic but 30 min later tannins had melted and was much softer and smoother, red fruits and earth.

April 3, 2022 - Nice strong effort but for me not as enjoyable as the B cellars Bridgeline. Nice color, nice fruity taste with more red than blue fruit. Good alcohol at 15.2 but does seem a bit “hot.” Has a bit of a musty taste which may be this bottle so will be interesting to see how the others age.

October 13, 2021 - The quest to see how the '18s are drinking continues......Pnp'd for HMC as he picked up his latest '19 B Cellars wine shipped in today to my office. Perfumed dark red fruit with a hint of alc on the nose. Smooth tannins from the get go, no grit here....no tart fruit. This has potent dark red fruit, some cassis, great acidity and very little astringency. This is VERY drinkable one hour in. Nice depth to the fruit, better than 6-8 months ago, excellent barrel spice matching up very well to the acidity. Long finish due to those factors. This is drinking very well now with at least a one hour decant and will improve further over the next year or two, I feel. 94 now, 95 or more later? Looks like some of the '18s are starting their move .....entering their groove?

August 15, 2021 - My palate may have been experiencing an off day however the color of the wine backed up the intensity, or lack of, on the palate. Color of the wine was very light with it being easy to discern the bottom of the glass. Unfortunately a “Viney” taste was present eliminating rich Cab flavors. I am hoping my other two bottles present themselves in a better manner. Dave

April 22, 2021 - Thirty minutes in the glass before drinking. Very deep dark magenta color. Concentrated pomegranate, black olive, terra cotta, and cherry on the youthful, energetic nose. Smooth, very dry palate. Full, dusty tannins on the long finish.

This has terrific structure, but the nose was more red fruited than I like. This guy needs a little time to sort itself out.
