  June 1, 2023 - Decent Napa cab with blackberry, black plum, cassis, black cherry, vanilla, toast, earth, and oak. This wine is now 7 years old and still drinking well, but the tannins are definitely fading so do not hold for much longer. Drink 2023-2024.

  July 17, 2021 - This particular bottle was closed upon opening but after a short decant really came alive. Lots of pure fruit. Blueberry and currant notes with vanilla and menthol. Pretty big wine for this humble price, good finish too. I will look for more of this.

  June 20, 2021 - Good. A little thin and medicinal on day 1. Much better on day 2...I am in no rush to purchase any additional bottles and will see how the 2015's that are in my cellar compare.

  February 28, 2021 - Was OK but not anything special. Well balanced with lots of fruit on the palate but fairly indistinguishable nose. Not terrible but not memorable.

  December 22, 2020 - Attractive deep purple color. Bright berry nose. On the tongue I get tart dark berriy and tart plum flavors. Mid-palate slate or pencil lead. Tannin is quite stiff. This is a pretty good wine, and it will benefit from a few more years of storage.
