February 27, 2022 - This is probably the best Bourgogne rouge we’ve ever had. Truly super!

    October 17, 2020 - Massive overachiever!

July 5, 2018 - From an off vintage, surprise...surprise! A total different impression this time, still brick red in colour but there is a touch of brightness, a little shiny! The nose is unexpectedly rosy, wild fruits dominance, I mistakenly thought this is a bottle of Gevrey-Chambertin, silly me! Mouthful of red fruits, a hint of jammy sweetness along with a little meatiness, singing beautifully at the moment, no idea this high performance will last for how long! Such a delight to drink!

July 26, 2014 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (M&R's): Notes of red fruit, forest floor, iodine and roasted herbs and eventually a cherry note emerges. Earth, iron and red fruit turning to white currants and sour cherries. Medium-bodied and nicely integrated.

Picked out as our Burg. This had been quickly double decanted off its sediment before leaving for the tasting, approximately 1.5 hrs before the flight was poured. Based on this bottle, I would say drink over the very near term if you are still holding these, unless you have a very cold cellar.

November 3, 2012 - Cellar Diminishment Party (M/M thelostverse): Cherry and green, herbal qualities on the nose, with herbs and red fruit on the palate. Definitely shows the vintage.
