November 18, 2023 - 91-92 pop and pour. Simple cherry, cranberry, cranapple. A wisp of flower petal and pine. Elegant with med acidity. I like how this is aging. Curious if this picks up secondary notes in 3 years. Label 13%, I would guess 13.5%

November 3, 2023 - This leans more Sonoma than it does burgundy for me. Warmer, riper, and denser than the Old Vines bottling. There’s a lot here and it’s pretty gulpable, just not what I seek out. On open you get cherry and then strong graphite and beefsteak tomato that blows off to reveal slightly vanilla and sappy fruit. Well made and will have at least 5 years of keeping potential.

If you like riper, you’ll score this higher

October 15, 2023 - Beautiful. Felt like it still had more aging potential. Better the second day. Red fruit, cherry, raspberry, minerally, great acidity and fine grained tannins. The second day dried herbs and loam. Loved it!

September 11, 2023 - Good solid spice here. Serious backbone of sound fruit. Has a rustic tone that I like, this is a country boy, but a very elegant version, structured, en danseuse, plenty of strawberries. Approachable, while certainly young.
