February 23, 2019 - Similar note to my last tasting. Required 2 hours of decant and it's worth it. The warner it got the better it tasted.

December 2, 2018 - From a magnum. A tremendously balanced wine, perfect assimilation of fruit and stone, wood and minerallity, acidity and cream. More beautiful than powerhouse this wine is a tribute to great Cali Chardonnay.

Given last nights Chardonnay lineup this stood out and was the WOTN.

May 4, 2018 - Still showing very nicely. Nice acidity and lovely nose of tropical fruits and white peaches.

    October 23, 2017 - Superb.

August 20, 2017 - Three Bordeaux 1985s (Friends' House, Hong Kong): Tasted double-blind on a completely clean palate because our host wanted an unbiased second opinion on this wine. Briefly decanted. Deep candied yellow colour. Nose jumps out at you with slightly pongy tennis socks and sweaty tennis balls, very canided lemon and mandarin peel. Palate is immediately more acidiity-fresh than the nose would suggest but it quickly dissipates into the same candied lemon/mandarin orange (is that Meyer Lemon? I have never eaten one). Moderate length, little reverberance. Nothing to write home about here.....not overall surprised when it was revealed as Peter Michael because i have never been won over by their style and claimed quality.
