July 14, 2022 - PnP at a restaurant in Melbourne. The body is medium, a bid acidic at fist but got better by the one hour mark... This wine is likely going down hill already but it might also be this particular bottle.

    Had it with Filet Mignon.

    Drink!

August 9, 2021 - Inky with musty, sweet black tea nose. Tannic and dry, even after 3-1/2 hours. Old leather, vanilla, black pepper, dark chocolate, with a dusty, graphite earthiness. A hint of black plum fruit. Opened to accompany charcuterie and finished same night, after opening and consuming a second bottle of not-quite-as-old, good Napa cab. A little difficult as paired. Possibly better pair with a charred steak or mixed grill; would hold up to strongly-flavored meats and accompanying sauces. Likely has a decade or more to run for those who have any left.

February 18, 2018 - Tampa Spring Break III; 2/16/2018-2/18/2018 (Tampa FL): 4/17 wines tasted double blind. Definitely new world - thinking Cab Sauv from Napa maybe late 90's. Quite ripe blackberry and blueberry, leaning a bit sweet with smooth tannins. A bit of heat on the finish.

February 18, 2018 - Tampa Spring Break (the third); 2/16/2018-2/18/2018 (Various Tampa locations (Seasons 52, Capital Grille, Berns etc.)): Wine #4: Started off a bit candied in nature to me but with time in the glass it lost that etheral quality and put on some more weight. Red currant and earth was most of what I got.

September 7, 2015 - given to me as a gift. finally had it. delish! very CA but terrific bright fruit, smooth but still present tannins - hitting its stride now. not certain it will get better.
