    December 12, 2023 - 1 hr decant.
Wow- this is dark and dense, basically opaque and tooth staining.
Cassis, spice, some mixed berry fruit coming out.
Very pretty and balanced. Med+ body, med acidity, very balanced and clean for it big 15% alcohol, not at al cloying. But man did this hihh alcohol hit me. Easy drinking amd its so good, but make sure no driving home after drinking this...

Glad I waited a few years to open my firsf bottle. Good with the beef stew I had, but this would also go with a lot of other beef and chicken dishes or by itself.

May 25, 2023 - Much better than previous bottle. Surprisingly good cab flavors and tannins. Just as good on days 2 and 3. Completely changed my mind on this wine.

January 7, 2023 - Tannic at first but ok after 2 hrs open and aeration. Not so good on day 2. Became disjointed and fruit faded. This was an oddball wine for my palate. I'll try another bottle in a couple years (but I don't have high hopes). Seems everybody else liked it more than me.

    December 25, 2022 - Same as prior.

Easily a 93 but needs 1-2h to settle in. No rating so I don’t dilute the scores but this is as Coombsville Cabernet as Coombsville gets.

November 22, 2022 - Needed an hour to open up. Consistent with my prior notes.

No score so I don't dilute the CT opinion, but I am a huge fan of this. A serious wine with the structure to warrant years of cellaring.

Drink now with a few hours decant but this will be so good in 5 years.
