July 10, 2023 - Should wait a few more years, though, this wine is drinking very well. Full bodied, pours like a typical mourvedre with a cloudy purple-red hue. Aromas and flavors of red liquorice, wild game, plum skins, green herbs, and old wood/earth. Awesome wine, great balance and long developing finish. Acids and tannins are high, but- again, in balance. 5+ years would benefit, I think- though I'd like to think this could run for 10-15yrs. Reminds me of a top tier Bandol (cough)- Tempier- (cough).

December 16, 2022 - Playful Friday with Rajat Parr wine Club Anika Mourvèdre. Turbid ruby. Cranberry, blue plum, blackberry, blue forest flowers, peppery notes and some liquorice. Fresh red berries initially, and a more plum-like fullness with delicate spice on the mid palate. Subtle tannins. Juicy, but not funky. Cool wine.
