February 3, 2024 - Very nice mix between the more oppulent Gaja style and stringent Etna Rosso. Very fruity and finely integrated tannis. Will develop nicely for 10 years+

November 17, 2023 - Decanted for about 3 hours. Tight upon opening, but then opened up - similar to a pinot (but not enough fruit to be a new world one, nor enough tannins to be old world). Very light with nice mid-range on the palate, not a show piece but enjoyable for what it is = a good table wine.

July 21, 2023 - Really beautiful after an hour of air. Fruity and savory. Richness similar to Amarone, perhaps due to the volcanic soil. Exciting wine, even after five weeks in Italy. The most life I have seen out of this bottle yet.

February 17, 2023 - Served with after dinner cheese plate, including fruits and nuts. Some funk on the nose, presumably a result of the volcanic soil. Otherwise feminine. Elegant. Barolo-esque; Gaja-esque. Highly enjoyable. Easy to drink.
