October 10, 2023 - Very full body, soft delicate finish. Didn't need to let it breath.
September 2, 2023 - Rouge violet foncé.
Fruits noirs, vanille, épices au nez.
Bouche : rond et plutôt corpulent, acidité moy, longueur moy, un peu terreux, tanins présents mais fins, fruits rouges et noirs murs.
Un peu trop de bois à ce stade mais curieux de voir ce que 4-5 ans de cellier feront...
July 13, 2023 - Very extracted and concentrated flavours. A tad sweet in style for my liking. Dark fruits galore. It’s tasty on the way in, but zero finish on the way down.
This can be opened now, cellaring is unlikely to improve it.
March 22, 2023 - Seriously pop n pour joyousness right now. Got better through the evening. Good concentration and solid integration of tannins, fruit, acid and alcohol.
February 8, 2023 - Wow, Okanagan wines just keep getting better. Dark inky purple color, medium nose. Fruit first taste - dark fruits quickly finishing into an earthy barny finish. Modest tannins but almost classic bordeaux finish with medium linger. Not many Okanagan blends do it, but this vineyard has thread the needle on creating a great blend
December 30, 2022 - Great tasting even following a Brunello.
December 25, 2022 - Stewed dark cherry, cassis, sage, coffee, oak spice, m int a little subdued at first but came alive in hr 2 of decant
M+ acid, m v fine tannin, extremely pronounced bacon fat, blueberry, dark cherry, cedar, garrigue, espresso bean, m+ body, v nice mouthfeel
Oak dominating now but very nice effort here with 5 yrs to drinking window
November 14, 2022 - Dense et belle matière.
Assez corsé et ample, pas mal
de fruits noirs et des épices.
Les tannins sont charnus et la finale bien longue
est aussi soutenue.
October 9, 2022 - Deep red colour in the glass. Nose is spicy, I think this could be influenced by the high alcohol, a little cigar aroma. Big body, medium high acidity, tannins are pleasant and integrated. Flavours of ripe red fruit and tobacco.
October 5, 2022 - Tried a 2018 & 2019 together. Definitely improves with age so far . Well balanced dark cherry/fruit on the allette - less fruity on the nose than pallette. Slight cocoa hints on the back of the mouth, slight baking soda hint on the end . Drinkable and enjoyable. Preferred the blind trust over the portfolio but might improve with age. Others with me concurred.
