April 3, 2022 - Blind Tasting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in an "Old World" Style (Holiday Inn - Skokie IL): Double blind in Pinot Noir flight. Rich and nearly. slightly sweet, but with enough brightness to remain balanced. Good degree of classic Pinocity, yet clearly a fun New World Pinot Noir.

April 3, 2022 - Vinetasters: (mostly) Oregon chardonnay and pinot noir (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Seems a bit lower in acid, despite the really bright red fruit and floral notes on the nose which would point you to one of those more post-modern style pinots. Some aldehydic elements that are distracting here, with a palate that is quite light. Unpleasant astringency on the finish. My 6th, group's 2nd.
