The wine shows medium to high intensity, filled with ripe fresh citrus, stone fruit but also some red cherries. Nice thin yeast layer, almond, quince, toast, more fruit/vibrant than normal/typical blend champagnes.
In the palate, the wine shows lean to medium body, no bread or yeast notes, medium acidity, nice carbonation with a touch minerality, strawberry notes, framboise notes, raspberries and cherries, medium finish.
Very different in style but also very interesting. Would be fun to find a pairing for it. With time you also get some tropical and peach notes.
February 11, 2022 - Crisp and acidic, with notes of crunchy ripe red apple, lemon and vanilla. Slightly toasty with lots of depth and minerality. Very fresh. The acidity is fabulous. Reminds me of apple cider. Sad this is my last bottle.
January 2, 2022 - Nez leger vanille, brioche citron pamplemouse... En bouche, très citronné et mineral, très belle acidité.
December 7, 2021 - Rather boring and lacking the varietal character that one makes Meunier special
October 21, 2021 - Ended the night with this. Limited note. Aromatic and quite fresh, very juicy and mouth watering.
September 10, 2021 - Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): Just a fun wine and not one that you see all too often. Paired with a pizza which is always a good combination (esp as we got better pizza this time). Kindof spicy notes prob from the Meunier. Young and not really that complex but it’s enjoyable and mostly a bit educational.
July 17, 2021 - A rich Champagne in terms of nose, bubble, body and after taste.
April 2, 2021 - Bottle #2. Light and fruity on the nose, notes of apple, lemon zest, orange creamsicle, yeast and vanilla. Tart lemon, lime, and grapefruit flavors with a hint of yeast on the finish. Crisp and well balanced. Very tasty. Drink soon for maximum fruit, but no rush.
March 26, 2021 - Elegant. Mycket pigga och små bubblor. Doft och smak av äppelpaj. Brioche och röda äpplen. Efter hand en viss söt vanilj, nästan lite bourbon. Kort eftersmak. Spännande men inte min favorit billecart.
