    February 3, 2024 - Nice light red.

November 26, 2021 - The Fourth Annual World’s Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir: Retail $35. Medium color with a meaty, bacon fat nose and some baked fruit. Meh. The palate is another story. Again the fruit is a bit baked but it has incredible balance and a lengthy finish. Yum.

March 17, 2021 - The wine is a very translucent red bordering pink. Upon opening and after some time with swirling, there was not much of a nose which consisted of red cherry which matched the palate. Texturally the acid is present and balanced but the body is somewhat anemic. There is very minimal tannin and a fairly short finish. It is drinkable but not complex and there are other better examples of Willamette Valley pinots

February 15, 2021 - Perhaps the least interesting Pinot I've had in a long while. Not offensively bad - just lacking in flavor, complexity, body and nose.

According to the Rating Scale (which I think most people ignore or abuse - myself included at times)... this is 75-79 and that's probably generous. If I were a tough grader this would be 'below average' and thus 70-74.

    But whatever.

November 24, 2020 - The Third Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir (My House, Houston, TX): Retail $28. Really nothing on the nose here. Nada, zilch, zippo. Big fruit on the palate, though, without being “fruity.” It is more of a mouthfeel and a weight more than anything else. This is perhaps a bit disjointed and out of balance. Very Good. 87 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com
