April 2, 2015 - minimal sediment, excell. color, bouquet and finish. one bottle less fresh tasting.
October 31, 2012 - Drank over several hours, two or so ounces at a time. No signs of decline.
July 20, 2012 - NEVER HAD TASTED THIS WINE BEFORE. AFTER OPENING IT, I TASTED A LUCIOUS, FULL-BODIED WINE WHICH WAS SERVED IN THE RIEDEL BURG. GLASSES. THIS PORTION WAS NOT DECANTED. THE GUESTS SAT DOWN, TASTED AND ALL LOVED IT. AFTER 2-3 MIN. THE WINE TASTED LIKE WATER. LOST ALL CHARACTER. POURED ANOTHER ROUND OF SAME WINE SEV. MIN. LATER AND IT AGAIN SHOWED THE BEAUTIFUL CHARACTER IT HAD INITIALLY AND AFTER A FEW SIPS IT TOO, DIED. THE THIRD POUR FROM THE SAME BOTTLE WAS AGAIN LOVELY, BUT IT TOO QUICKLY DIED. WAS IT THE RIEDELS OR WHAT?
January 15, 2012 - Still good- a nice table wine.
December 18, 2011 - This one was gone...
July 19, 2011 - Hanging in there pretty well- still very drinkable as a simple, but tasty, table wine.
July 3, 2009 - A bit non-descript. Medium ruby red tending toward purple. Unappealing nose of ground and moss. Some tannin, some redish fruit, some plums but again nothing to grab on to. Fair table wine.
June 13, 2009 - Garnet red color. Barnyard, garrigue and red fruit sceent. Cherry, currant and tobacco taste with ample, somewhat rustic, tannins.
June 13, 2009 - Somewhat dilute disc. Baked, earthen, red fruit nose. Floral scent present too, along with some nice mineral and meat components. Thinnish in the mouth, moderate-high tannin and acid. Similar palate. Short finish.
