November 1, 2023 - Earthy, somewhat muted nose. On the palate red fruit. Medium body, medium acid. A nice wine and great value. This placed highly in our Priorat blind tasting, second only to another wine from the same village of Escaladei.

August 5, 2023 - Nice, everyday drinking wine from Spain. Interesting grape often overshadowed by Tempranillo. The nose is more herbal than fuity, indicating the 5-year age. Taste is balanced and tannins are muted but overall the finish is very dry.

December 12, 2022 - 5 Star QPR. Ripe black fruit flavors, laced with licorice, toast and loamy earth notes. Offers well-integrated tannins and gentle acidity. Pretty floral and cinnamon details emerge on the finish.

February 18, 2022 - Always up to try wines from this producer when I'm in the mood for Priorat, have had some real gems over the years, and this is no exception. Gave 3h air. Pale ruby color. Deeply fragrant, with notes of dried strawberry, blueberry, crushed gravel, leather, anis and orange peel. Velvety and supple, medium-full bodied. Tart red and black fruit, with hints of leather and orange peel, supported by plush tannins.
