February 29, 2020 - No detailed tasting notes, but this was excellent at 16 years old. Wonderful aged cab, opened up over 2 hours, wish I kept more of this.

May 8, 2015 - No typicity; I guessed Zin. Super-sweet blue and blackberry fruit, some heat, very little structure. Cough syrupy. Too much.

March 15, 2013 - Aromas of ripe red fruits, coffee and raisins. Lush and initially sweet with some fruit and balancing acidity in the middle and finished with dark cocoa. Drink now.

March 20, 2010 - Deep purple color. Nose of cassis and blackberry. Fruit well integrated into the wine with cassis & green pepper integrated nicely with the tannins leaving a medium long finish.

October 13, 2009 - nice deep red purple color and nice fruit and flowers nose with subtle oak notes, more oak and black fruit on the palate, with hints of spice, nicely balanced with some acidity in the finish along with spicy fruit. Not large in scale, but with pleasing touch of elegance. It is in a nice place now, and a real pleasure to drink. And it was as least as good on night 3 as it was on night 1, so there is plenty of time to enjoy this over the next 3 or 4 years.
