July 10, 2019 - Very nice right now. Softened quite a bit, still good fruit with body but no sweetness. A bit earthy. Ready to roll now.

April 24, 2019 - Turned out this was actually "Le Coeur des Dames". Nice bottle, but not giving much. Seemed tight, unyielding. I'm not sure it ever gets to what it should be, I suspect this is a reflection of the vintage, but what the hell do I know about burgundy anyway.

September 22, 2012 - Drinking great right now. Smooth dried black cherry flavors and a touch of earthy peaty mushroom. Paired really well with Coq au Vin.
