April 16, 2024 - Really needed a night of air to shed overt oak (coconut is not my favorite flavor in wine), but was quite tasty on night two.

February 21, 2024 - hopefully in a dumb phase. Hollow with some earth tones.

February 11, 2024 - Part of a "Little Brother" or 2nd wine night with my wine group at a NYC restaurant. It was opened, but not decanted for over an hour before pouring. Somehow, it was a little less impressive than my previous bottle. My 3rd favorite of the 4 reds.

January 29, 2024 - 90 min decant; This wine is truly outstanding! Rich, black fruit integrated nicely with acid and tannin, following through to a lengthy finish of vanilla oak and espresso with hints of dark chocolate. Kinda sad I didn't go deeper on this vintage...maybe I can find more. Drink now - 2033+.

January 14, 2024 - Big bold and beautiful. In Bordeaux I never drink the second label but the QPR of the CVR is so good compared to the high end QC that I prefer it. This is also better than any CA can in the $50 price range. Great with steak!

December 25, 2023 - I know this will sound “snobbish” but this was so much better than the $12 bottles brought by guests to my daughter and son-in-law’s home for Xmas. I kept this bottle off to the side and shared generous pours with my daughter. A bit selfish but the other guests aren’t into wine and wouldn’t know the difference. Cheers!

December 12, 2023 - No formal notes but this drank great over three days. Depth and richness without being over the top, great wine for a steak but drinks well on its own. Great QPR, will seek out more.

November 26, 2023 - Followed over 2.5 hrs, shame there wasnt much time since my last tasting of the '18 but really dig this tonight. The nose is somewhat restrained and you can tell that the there's much more to give across the palate in time, but this was a really enjoyable bottle that I can envision going with a variety different foods As well as drinking on its own.

November 19, 2023 - Always great. With a littler cheese and dried meats on our anniversary, this opened after 30 mins in the glass and just got better.
