March 31, 2023 - Retail $45. 59% Estate Grown Pinot Noir, 41% Estate Grown Chardonnay. This is a different wine than the much more widely available "Cuvée de la Pompadour" which happens to be the only non-vintage wine produced by DC. A lovely delicate salmon color (perhaps more orange than pink) in the glass with an active sparkle of particularly small bubbles. The nose is once again shy with subtle red berry fruit. The fruit on the palate is more ripe peach and perhaps even orange rind. The story here, again, is the zingy acidity as this also has a very low (0.9% g/l) dosage. Lovely. Excellent. 91 Points.

June 18, 2022 - On the nose- Grilled peaches, fresh oranges, mandarin's, fresh honeysuckle, fresh tangerines, tart strawberries, marzipan, fresh crème, rose petals

On the palate- Grilled peaches and fresh oranges, mandarin's and fresh honeysuckle, fresh tangerines and tart strawberries, marzipan and fresh crème with some rose petal as well. This wine is super fresh with lovely acid and a great structure. This is drinking so well right now but could age another decade plus with no problem at all.

April 9, 2022 - Minerally nose, with hints of red fruits. Some crushed stone too. The palate is dry with lots of strawberries and Granny Smith apples, a delicate mousse, nice acidity and a lingering, long finish with grapefruit and lemon notes. Quite enjoyable.

December 21, 2021 - The Fourth Annual World’s Largest Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine; 12/20/2021-12/23/2021: Retail $45. 59% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay. Pale salmon color, quite brilliant in the glass with rich red berry fruit, but not over the top, also some peach and red delicious apple, a bit flinty, a fantastic nose. The palate is certainly on the dry side with just a hint of sweetness coming in right before the lengthy finish. Great fruit, plenty of acidity, solid top to bottom.
