  September 4, 2024 - This is evolving. far more open than I would have thought based on my last bottle. Massive amount of biscuit and bready component that I usually do not get with young Krug (and this is young!). Precision and depth. This is singular and so well made. Needs 10 years (min). I am still on the fence with how great 2008 is, but this is coming along nicely. The 164th MV smashes this right now though.. I would take the 164 over this 100% of the time at this stage. in 20 years I will do these side by side and the angels will be singing... great young Krug, just too young

  August 4, 2024 - Great bottle of wine. There is a linear precision and through line that the wine possesses that I didn’t see in the other 08s that we tasted this day. Amazing mouthfeel and finish.

  July 15, 2024 - This was an amazing bottle of wine. I brought the 164 which was drinking far better for today, but the 08 vintage has TONS of potential. It was pretty tight and nervy, but intensely concentrated and had much more typical 08 hallmarks than the 164 which has become far more broad and open knit.
  
  Brimming with lime peel, concentrated minerals, citrus gelee and river stone, the 08 vintage is chiseled, focused, vibrant, and packed with raw material. It's actually pretty delicious now, but has all the elements for a head turner in years to come.

  July 14, 2024 - Still quite tight. Focused and vibrant. Lengthy chalky finish. Really good but should keep getting better. Best to hold
