Intense and masculine nose of dark cherries, ripe raspberries, chocolate and some baking spices.
This is way out of balance with an overwhelming level of alcohol. Otherwise good with medium body, fine-grained tannins, high acidity. Not a bad wine, but the alcohol ruins it for me. Will stay away from pinots at 14% and above moving forward. -
