  June 19, 2022 - Savory and dark, with berry fruit and licorice. On the palate, it's bone dry with crunchy fruit and some savory herbal and cured meatnotes. Mouthwatering chalky finish with some fine tannins. Quite good with pepperoni and sausage pizza. 89

  October 11, 2021 - It’s a very well made wine, and delicious for the style, but I find it (L331 20) a bit too “secco”, and I won’t buy again. I prefer my Lambrusco to have a hint of sweetness.
  
  As a general comment, I think that the pendulum is swinging too far in favor of wines with high acidity and no natural sweetness. A great red doesn't need to be at either extreme of the spectrum: neither heavy, alcoholic, oaky and sweet “Parkerized” nor ultra-austere, ultra-acidic. There is a happy medium. These fads and fashions create an environment in which a consumer trying a new wine without research is systematically disappointed.
