August 10, 2012 - Disappointed in this bottle, was expecting more really.

    February 5, 2011 - Excellent, especially for a 2002. Balanced and elegant.

December 19, 2010 - This was my last bottle and the best. Some of the acidity of earlier tastings was tamer than before and the flavors were classic Brunello. Consumed at a dinner with friends
who kept reaching for the Capanna instead of a high-priced, higher-rated and delicious 2002 Mitolo G.A.M. shiraz. The QPR on this was very good. Seems to be really hitting its stride now. Wish I had more.

December 4, 2010 - My notes are sketchy, but this wine showed very well. Fragrant and heady, with elegance on the palate. Very nice.

October 12, 2008 - Not at all sure what IWC saw in this wine (93pts). The nose of my bottle was very muted. Exceedingly mouth drying and all I could really pick up on the palate was slight hints of red berries and some green pepper. Maybe my bottle was off - maybe it needs more time decanting. I have some left and will try it on day 2.
