March 10, 2024 - Going strong.
January 28, 2024 - Quite nice again, seems a bit of aged quality, which at 4 years shows as slightly deeper yellow and tweak to citrus. Drank over several nights, good across the board, bit less acidity day 2 and 3, bit more fruit.
August 5, 2023 - On the same night during dinner, drinked the 2019 and the 2020 back to back.
Colored yellow, dense but still really clear. Nose is subtil, fine acidity.
First taste you can feel the finesse of the wine. It’s light but with substance. Mineral, acid and you can still feel the fruit pretty well.
On the 2019, you can have an bitter aftertaste. It’s not that bad, but the 3 of us tasting the wines had the same verdict: the 2020 was smoother and better, it’s a no brainer.
Still, two good wines and nice to be able to compared them back to back.
January 14, 2023 - This vintage is in a great space right now since tasting last year. Is punching well above its weight and showing generous amounts of white peach and lime en pallet with the faintest aroma of rosemary flower and borage honey on the nose. Good thymes
November 6, 2022 - Bu sur 2 jours. Typé Chablis, équilibré, complet. La tension s’est assagie et se boit bien sans rien qui accroche. Un des meilleurs village de l’appellation à mon avis.
August 13, 2022 - Tendre mais sous contrôle l'acidité étant un peu juste, le vin a perdu du gras et a gagné en souplesse depuis un an. Un bon village d'un millésime mur qu'on fait souvent passer à tort pour frais. 89
July 11, 2022 - Excellent chablis. Un très bel équilibre en bouche avec une acidité bien présente mais pas trop tranchante avec de belles saveurs d'agrumes. Je crois que le vin évolue encore et a le potentiel d'offrir plus d'harmonie.
June 11, 2022 - More than serviceable entry level Chablis. Doesn’t quite have the complexity or elegance of a Dauvissat, but beyond that, on par or better with the likes of Bessin (this wine is cleaner), Moreau Naudet (this is less exotic). Clean, pure, pastry cream on the nose, good intensity on the palate, citric with minerals, kind of round in texture, with a medium length finish. Very solid.
June 3, 2022 - Very good, balanced Chablis with good typicity: citrus, talc, and stony minerality. I liked this considerably more than the one consumed nearly a year ago. I have one remaining, which I'll drink this year, I believe.
May 15, 2022 - Jour 1. Des notes citronnées et de salinité. Tant au nez quand bouche. Vif, presque tranchant, sec, longueur moyenne.
Jour 2 : Gagne en profondeur et en matière sur une texture plus soyeuse. Petites notes d’amendes se pointent.
Jour 3 : encore une belle amplitude. Plus de notes de noix, et pointe de verdeur.
Jour 5… il a tenu le coup. Encore du citron confit et de notes de noix.
