September 10, 2022 - A very good wine for a 99. At its peak. No decanting necessary.
Nose: typical claret aromas, riper fruit and hint of leather.
Palate: after 30 min of opening the bottle, tannins completely disappeared leaving a very silky light to medium body, enjoyable wine. Well balanced , acidity not dominating but present. Aromas of liquorice join the fruit and leathery notes.

July 1, 2022 - My last bottle of this and it was timely. Although still in its peak drinking window, it probably is better to be consuming this in the nearer term. Taste profile is as per previous notes, but the fruit is beginning to recede and exposing some harsher notes. This just needs to be popped and poured.

    June 15, 2022 - Deep garnet.
Very intense and aged nose. Spices, leather, prunes, earthy aromas. Beautiful.
Medium to light body, very soft and elegant with some drying tannins left. Spicy with flavours of coffee, prunes, some red berries, earth. Lacks a little bit of depth and intensity of flavours but otherwise very enjoyable.

March 29, 2022 - Decadent nose of ripe wild berry fruits along with a hint of sweet minerals, remarkably dark in colour! The palate is so rich and in a form of extravagance, a bit showy at this point! Quite youthful to me!

February 18, 2022 - Tasted blind after 2 hours' decanting. This was a very delicious wine, rounded (more like a Pomerol). beautiful raspberry and plum notes, velvety texture, very fine tannins and relatively low acidity but still keeping a very nice balance. Still with lots of fruit but given the structure I'd drink it sooner rather than later.
